Ruth Harper

Ruth Harper is professor emerita of counseling and human development at South Dakota State University. During her career, she co-authored and edited four books in her academic field. Harper has always loved poetry, and in retirement has written and published several poems. Finishing Line Press published her first chapbook, Uncertain Seasons, this year. She lives in Brookings.
