Quick Grant Scholar Application

Please read the following for instructions and information about becoming a scholar for South Dakota Humanities Council!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a scholar with our organization.  We pride ourselves in showcasing knowledgeable and experienced scholars and their humanities programs in South Dakota. 

• Application is due January 15, 2012. 
• The SDHC Program Committee will decide on scholars in February 2012.
• 2012 Program Catalog will be printed in March 2012.

SDHC Scholar Payment:

• $150 stipend or $200 if travel is over 240 miles round trip (within South Dakota) or if more than one presentation is done in a day.  $75 for subsequent presentations on a second day.
• Round trip mileage is covered at $0.37/mile (only mileage incurred within South Dakota).
